Costa de la Luz
With the exception of Tarifa, also mentioned in 'Beaches'¸ the following
beaches are all within 12 kms of Vejer and have road access:
El Palmar
El Palmar is the best surfing beach of the Cadiz area. Fast shorebreak waves,
powerful and with acceptable length. Best waves September to June. A high quality
spot.
Los Canos
Los Canos breaks at low tide, protected from the west winds. It's a left although
sometimes has rights of poor quality. At low tide breaks with little depth and
it is then that the wave has quality walling up hollow and long. Classic reef
spot but watch out for the rocks at low tide.
